SPRING CLEANUP
In spring, we remove unsightly leaves, branches and other debris from lawn
areas and planting beds. Ornamental trees and shrubs within planting beds
and lawn areas are checked and cleared of any broken branches. Mulch beds
and tree rings are weeded and given a deep, well-manicured trench edge.
Hedges, shrubs, and trees are pruned as needed for a natural, visually
appealing shape. The overall landscape is checked and groomed for optimal
appearance. If we are contracted for snowplowing, snowplow damage is
repaired at no extra charge; otherwise it is billed as an additional charge.
WEEKLY LAWN MAINTENANCE
Our specially trained crew provide weekly lawn cutting (as weather permits)
throughout the growing season. Prior to mowing, the grounds are policed for
trash, tree limbs, or obstructions. Turf areas are cut at the proper mowing
height in opposite directions on alternating visits to ensure even grass growth
while presenting a visually attractive appearance. We do not bag grass
clippings. Turfgrass research shows that by using proper mowers, it is better to
return clippings to the turf for nutritional replenishment. Our cutting service
includes weed trimming of areas that cannot be reached with the lawn mowers
and edging of concrete borders along walkways and driveways to help maintain
a neat appearance. Bed lines that have been established by a vertical trench
method are maintained as needed during the growing season. All concrete
surfaces, patios, decks, walkways, and parking areas are blown clean of debris
from the lawn maintenance process. This process includes the edges of
streets in some applications.
BED & SHRUB MAINTENANCE
Our staff safeguards the appearance of shrub beds, natural areas with mulch
and ground cover areas on a regular basis throughout the season. This is done
by maintaining existing trench edges, providing weed control, and pruning trees
and shrubs. Every tree and shrub grows differently so pruning is done
depending upon its growth habit and blooming period. We use Round-Up
herbicide on any weed that we can safely apply without injury to ornamental
plants. We hand pull weeds where the herbicide application is not appropriate.
There will always be weeds present in a fertile growing environment. Our
intention is to always control weeds with no injury to shrubs, ground covers, or
trees.
FALL CLEANUP
In the fall, we visit your property on a regular basis removing leaves, branches,
and other debris from lawn areas, walks, driveways, parking areas, and
planting beds. Additionally, we pull any weeds, cutback perennials, and remove
annuals or other dead plant materials from your planting beds. Fall leaves are
removed and then placed into natural areas on your property for composting. If
natural areas are not available, debris is removed from the site. This complete
service provides a continuously neat and well-maintained look as winter
approaches.
SNOWPLOWING
Snow plowing season runs from October 15th through April 1st. Properties will
be plowed when 2 ½ inches or more snow fall, this is the standard for snow
plowing contracts. All snow plowing is done before 6:30 am; and if snowfall
persists throughout the day, snowplowing is completed again by 5:30 pm, so
customers can arrive home to a clean driveway. Request for driveways to be
done by a certain time will be met when agreed upon by both parties. Sidewalk
snow removal and property salting is not included, but available for an extra fee.
LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION
Retaining walls, ponds, paver walkways and patios, tree / shrub installs,
landscape lighting, and many more services performed, please inquire.
PRESSURE WASHING
Pressure Washing is now available. Pricing is figured out on a 'per square foot'
basis. Pressure Washing is available, but not limited to driveways, sidewalks,
walkways, houses, patios, decks, and many more. Please inquire for a quote.
